Style tips of the day (shoes).

For a more slimmer look, go for narrow tip shoes rather than squared tip shoes. And make sure you polish that shoes frequently.

Squared tip shoes appear bulkier and heavier. The 1990's trend is over.

Narrow tip shoes. The look for many modern men is looking for!

Style tips of the day (work wear).

Today's update is going to be a style tips for men's work wear. As we all know that a perfectly fitted outfit and matching accessories are the main key towards a well dressed man. Furthermore, a nice fitting outfit will going to make you appear more younger, taller and slender. As what Rachel (FRIENDS) claimed, fashion is youth :D On the other hand, a poor fitting outfit will going to make you appear sloppy, excessive, bulkier, heavier and older. It is also important to note that a nice slim tie should be worn with the fitted outfit. Talking about shoes, squared tip shoes will going to make you appear bulkier, while narrow tip shoes will going to complete the slim look. It is all about matching the look from the top to bottom.

A poorly fitted outfit. Bigger shirt, baggy pants and a large, long tie.

A well fitted outfit. Fitted/ tailored shirt, a slim tie and tailored pants.

The 2000's look.

The mens' fashion trend during the 2000's era saw a mixture of styles. One of the most popular 2000's trends was the loose fitting hoodie shirt/ jacket (River Island), acid wash jeans (iTop) and slip ons (North Star) look.

The 'Hot & Wet Climate' look.

For a hot sunny day, it is important to opt for a comfortable and loose outfit. I tend to sweat easily, thus sporting a loose shirt (Tom Baker) and short (H&M) should keep myself away from sweating too much. Feel the breeze. Let the cool air flows. Wearing a close fitting outfit during a hot sunny day will going to make your sweat stain appear more noticeable.

Hot and sunny day!

What to wear during a hot sunny day? Firstly, think of bright colored shirt. Secondly, think of a decent "summer" head wear to protect your head from the sun's heat. Thirdly, think of rolling up your sleeves and pant/ short twice (feel the breeze). Let the day brightens up your outfit! :D For this look, I wore a hat that I bought from the Mall (third floor, near the food court), shirt by Topman (SG$ 30 for 3 basic shirts. Awesome!), chinos by Cotton On (SG) and sneakers by Cotton On (SG).
